I am a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, currently a Doctor of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy candidate at the University of Exeter, with over 25 years of professional experience in the NHS (CAMHS) and private practice. I am also a trained Art Therapist and Social Worker. I hold memberships in several professional bodies, including The British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF), The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), The Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP), and the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).
I offer a confidential, safe, and respectful environment where clients can deeply explore their feelings and life experiences through talking psychotherapy. My practice is designed to support you through various challenges, whether dealing with everyday anxieties or more complex clinical issues. When spoken language falls short of expressing your inner world and unconscious mind, I incorporate Art-based Psychotherapy, utilizing visual art, drama, and movement to help you explore and express challenging emotions, traumas, and more.
My expertise spans both talking Psychotherapy and Art-based Psychotherapy, addressing clinical concerns such as trauma, relationship difficulties, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, psychosexual issues, anger management, addiction, and gender identity concerns.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, and relational principles. Each person’s experience is unique, shaped by a complex web of internal and external factors, including conflicts, traumas, dilemmas, and aspirations. Together, we will work to deepen your understanding of your inner world and its connection to your external reality, helping you find meaning, purpose, and a way forward, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
I offer both Psychotherapy and Art-based Psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents. My services are available in central London and the historic market town of Amersham. Additionally, I provide online and phone-based therapy for those who prefer or require remote sessions.
